Here’s a very interesting thought I never considered until today!!!!!!
I’ve been following the discoveries surrounding Noah’s Ark for a few years. Actually, archaeologists first brought attention to a possible discovery of Noah’s Ark in the mountains of Ararat in Turkey back in 1959.
(No, I haven’t been following it that long! 
)
Bible scholars have estimated that it may have taken Noah anywhere from 50 to 120 years to build the ark. Just think about that! Imagine the people in the surrounding lands watching Noah and his sons build such an enormous vessel. Can you imagine the ridicule they must have faced? I’m sure other people may have even helped with the construction besides Noah’s family, although the Bible doesn’t tell us exactly who was involved.
Of course, people probably thought Noah was crazy. They had never experienced anything like the coming flood, and they couldn’t imagine what was about to happen.
Do you see where I’m going with this?
Much of the world ridicules us for believing in the second coming of Jesus.
BUT HERE’S THE INTERESTING THING: JESUS HIMSELF SAID, “AS THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE.” (Matthew 24:37, KJV). LET THAT SINK IN.
Jesus explained that people were carrying on with their everyday lives and did not understand or care what was coming until Noah entered the ark and the flood arrived. (In other words, they DESPISED Noah and his message)
Think about it! People could see the ark being built. They could see the animals entering it. There was a visible witness right in front of them, yet the people were unprepared when the flood came.
IS THERE A VISIBLE WITNESS IN FRONT OF US NOW THAT THE ARK MOST LIKELY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED?
Now, here’s what I just thought of today. Genius that I am! NOT!
THERE WAS THAT PERIOD OF 50 TO 120 YEARS—WHATEVER IT TOOK TO BUILD THE ARK—BEFORE THE FLOOD CAME.
From 1959 until today, October 2026, that’s 67 years. 67 YEARS!
Here’s my thought: Could God have allowed Noah’s Ark to be discovered—or at least brought to the world’s attention—to serve as a witness and remind mankind of the biblical account of Noah, the flood, and the second coming of Jesus with his words
that “””””just as in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the son of man be”””?
In a sense, we could say that we’ve had 67 years of people discussing the possibility that Noah’s Ark has been found. Today, some prominent ministers and researchers are claiming that they have found the Ark.
So here’s my question: Are we preparing spiritually for the second coming of Jesus?
Could God be using the renewed interest in Noah’s Ark to remind the world AGAIN of Jesus’ words? Could this be another opportunity for people to reflect on God’s warning, repent, and prepare their hearts for the Lord’s return and DON’T MISS IT this time?
I’m not saying I know the answer. It’s simply a thought that came to me today, and I believe it’s worth considering.
After all, Jesus Himself told us to be ready because we do not know the day or the hour of His return, and that it will be …………………….. just like the days of Noah!
Has God given the world another reminder of the days of Noah? And are we paying attention?
