Greetings to everyone in Jesus’ name !

I just wanted to add a video I ran across made 10 years ago with Eric Metaxas and the book Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. This book has so challenged me to be non-compromising like Dietrich Bonhoeffer was in his life during the Nazi regime.

This book Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy has so inspired me.

Just one quick note,,, I am not sure how I stand on Bonhoeffer being involved in an assassination attempt on Hitler. Actually, I believe that God did not let it happen so Bonhoeffer would not have blood on his hands. But here is a great interview of the author of the book, actually I am including two interviews with the author Metaxas here. ( in the second video I love how Eric Metaxas tells how Bonhoeffer when he was New York city just before world war 2 was visiting for a few months and he could not find a church that preached the gospel in his opinion until he went into a black church and was amazed by the worship and power of God! Eric talks about this in the second video here starting at about 6 minutes into the video, enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

I received Christ as my Savior back in Aspen Colorado in 1976! Then in 1978, God called me to attend Christ For The Nations Bible School in Dallas Texas. In 1980 I went to work at a Christian ministry called Camp Penuel that is still flourishing today that ministers to inner-city children from St Louis Mo and East St Louis Illinois. In 1982 I went as a missionary to Costa Rica for 6 years. In 1988 I returned to the states and ministered in churches until I was the children's minister at the Grove Christian Center in Grove Oklahoma. From Grove Oklahoma, in 1993 I went to Russia as a missionary for 10 years where I met my precious wife Tanya. We were married in Russia in 2002. In 2003 we returned to the US and make missionary trips to Russia and other places! but we live permanently in Grove , Oklahoma now.
